THE NURSERY

Since becoming a mother I’m learning what it means to be selfless, how to accept help from others, how much I have to be thankful for, and of course, just how little sleep one can actually function on. But most of all, I’ve found a place in my heart I didn’t know existed. A place with a love I didn’t know I could feel… and it’s just the best. We wanted this nursery to have a natural element to it that says ‘prairie’ in an unassuming way, which this branch mobil is perfect for.
A key part of my design work lately has been using “found” pieces as decor. Vintage, antique or just things we have collected over the years. In the nursery the painting above the crib is a vintage find. I loved the colours in this piece and pulled from them when selecting the quilt blanket and pillows.
