HOME TOUR // Mediterranean style in Dallas, Texas
Today's Home Tour features this stunning 6-bedroom two-storey by Coats Homes. The all-white exterior combines Mediterranean elements with distinctly modern undertones and inside, expansive windows bathe the simple interior in natural light. Architectural design by Wilson Fuqua, interiors by Theresa Rowe.
One of my favorite rooms in this home is the light-filled office that, by making use of a clean color palette, allows the use of a gorgeous patterned tile floor. A smaller space like an office or powder room is the perfect place to push beyond the boundaries of the expected and incorporate finishes that bring the design to the next level.
The simple lines of the staircase become a striking feature when floating in the foreground of floor-to-ceiling windows and textured brick. Notice how the use of exposed brick in the home's interior creates design harmony when coupled with the white brick on the home's exterior.
Comfortable furniture with subtle mid-century lines keeps the living room space feeling fresh + family friendly (a hard balance to strike!) while combined neutral grays + browns feel anything but ordinary.
The master suite combines quiet color and natural materials to achieve a serene surrounding any homeowner would love to come home to. The styling here has been completed with restraint, providing a perfect example of how minimalist living is possible even while creating a warm, welcoming, family-friendly home.
What a fun playroom! It's easy to imagine the hours of creativity, imagination, and play that will happen here. Our homes are more than empty decor, trends, and stuff - our homes are where we learn, grow, play, connect, and live.
Hope you enjoyed the tour! Do you have a favorite space in this stunning two-storey?
