ADD HEIGHT IN THE CENTRE
Start by determining where you want your tallest item to sit. This will act an an anchor piece. We used branches from the yard to add height and texture!

CREATE LAYERS
Build around your anchor piece by layering in your other items. Tuck smaller objects nearby. Layering up different heights make for a great centrepiece even if you are working with small objects!

WORK WITH WHAT YOU HAVE
It is okay to mix + match! Not everything has to be the same, make it all work together. We used gold charges from my personal collections, our eggshell enamelware plates from Farmer’s Daughter Homestead and vintage plates that are part of our FOUND. Collection also soon to be available at Farmer’s Daughter Homestead.
Happy Hosting! - The Farmer’s Daughter team
We’re very excited to be sharing a completed kitchen and dining room renovation from our Oakmoore project with you today!
This family home is located less than an hour from Swift Current, SK and nestled into the rolling hills of the beautiful Prairies we enjoy here in Saskatchewan. Our clients came to Farmer’s Daughter Interiors looking to make better use of their open plan kitchen + dining space while creating a bright, airy feeling kitchen where they could enjoy hosting their grown children (and their families) for weekend get togethers and large family holiday meals.
Read on for how we worked with our clients to bring this renovation to completion.
